SoulMates...

What's on my mind???? Soulmates. I've been thinking about soulmates and who they might be and what it might mean. I've never really brought into the whole searching for the right man/one/person. I've been ridiculously blessed to have fallen in love with a wonderful man who is usually good for me (we still have a lot to learn from each other). But I don't think he is my "Soul Mate". But I don't think you have to marry your soul mate nor are they always going to be your life partner.

I've met some great people over my scant 25 years in this life form and I think I've experienced a great journey with some truly beautiful people. Maybe we meet people and take what we need from each other, learning and growing along the way. I met "The One" when I was 16, I was madly, head over heels in love, only to find out you need more than love to sustain a proper relationship. Not long after there was another person who stole my heart but things just didn't work out. Several years later I'm married to someone completely different. This leads me to believe a concept of people being meant for each other a little over rated.

On the rare occasion I do meet someone with a truly radiant energy, which calls to me I find that for all the things I am drawn to about a person, I learn their faults are equally distracting. Maybe my weakness is finding flaws an d needing accept people for what they have to offer.

So here is my question. Do you believe in the concept of Soul Mates? Have you Met yours? How do you think it all works??
