Well it's official. I'm packing up the house, my husband and two dogs and we're moving to Tomewin. This means I will live in the Tweed Shire so no more whining about the lameness of Redland City Council. The other exciting part is moving away from everything. Serious. Tomewin is just over the QLD/NSW border and I can't wait to go shopping and not see anyone I know. Call me a snob but there are people who I would rather not see, ever and it would be great to go to my local and not see the same guy that used to call me horrid names when we were kids.
There are many other reasons I am looking forward to moving away and out of the Dale, so to speak. I am ridiculously excited about my loft. The house on contract has TWO lofts and One of them will be my study. Mine even has a little porch. It will be ever so nice to sit, drink tea and study (OR gossip and share a good sav blanc). And it's five acres or rain forest. Basically, there is the house and shed, a bit of grass (the type you can walk on not smoke) and the rest is basically a rainforest. The view out to MT. Warning is AMAZING. I'll post pictures when I move. Words just don't do it justice. AND I'll get my own little circle area. Call me what you want but I'm really looking forward to having my own little area in the garden. Then I will have no excuses for not meditating. I've always felt like there are activities like meditating that I would love to dedicate more time to but I've been too busy (or too lazy). Now I will have no more excuses!!!
Basically, I'm pretty happy with it all. I'm not scared about moving caz it's something I've always wanted to do. The only thing that sux big time is the packing and moving part. So if you have any spare time, newspaper or boxes, visit me and I'll put you to good use! Also it mean I'll be using this blog as a method of communication with others. I'll be at the Gold Coast uni and sometimes at Nathan but I reckon I'll pretty much be in isolation. But I'm cool with that for now....
